A First Glimpse of the Future: Warehouse Team Tours New Facility
Last week, the entire warehouse team stepped out of the routine for a special field trip that marked a milestone in our journey forward—a first look at the new warehouse facility that will soon become their everyday workspace.
Currently operating in a 60,000-square-foot location, the team was met with awe as they walked through the sprawling 90,000-square-foot layout of their future environment. The sheer increase in space isn’t just numbers—it’s a statement of growth, efficiency, and opportunity.
From the moment they entered, it was clear: this wasn’t just a new building, it was a reimagined workplace. Wider aisles offered room to move, work, and collaborate more freely. The high ceilings and expansive floors signaled the kind of upgrade that speaks not only to scale, but also to intention—ensuring every employee feels set up for success and comfort.
To commemorate the occasion, KSC hosted its first team lunch at the new facility. Pizza, wings, and cold drinks were served, turning the visit into a celebratory experience that reinforced the company’s appreciation for its hardworking warehouse crew. Gathering for a shared meal in the new space added warmth and camaraderie to the day.
The field trip wasn't just about logistics; it was about connection. Seeing the physical space brought a renewed sense of motivation and pride. Employees could envision the future more clearly, ask questions, and start to imagine how their roles would evolve in this expanded space.
“This is a huge step for us,” said one team member. “Seeing it in person made it feel real—we're excited, and ready.”
We’ll continue to share updates and support everyone through the transition, but for now, this first step—walking the floor, breaking bread together, and getting the lay of the land—was a reminder of just how far we’ve come, and how much further we’re headed.
